A few 1963 Corvette Sting Rays are still floating around today, but a lot aren't in good condition, and even more have been completely rebuilt with new parts, a new shiny paint job and maybe some sharp reflective chrome... These rebuilt Corvettes, though in a mint-like condition, are not vintage. A vintage 1963 Corvette Sting Ray would have all of the original factory parts, the engine would operate like it was just dropped under the hood by Chevrolet in 1962, and it would purr like a tiger.
