Oh well, I just made some recommendations but my comment didn’t go through. May be it is because my comment had a few links. Could you lower down your security settings, would help getting more people involved in the discussion. Just a suggestion though.
Regards.

Would love a full blown social networking/community system. I am a new wordpress user and very impressed with that and all the theme options. I love the GameNow theme but, it doesn’t play well with BuddyPress. So far I have yet to find a theme which is buddypress ready compare to GameNow or some other premium themes. I run a gaming community- crosseyedgamer.com which is built on Vbulletin as we were a large forum based community under another site for many years. The change in direction is what got us to start this new site and at the time we were still forum based. With the new VBulletin suite we though maybe it would bring us to the promise land. A year later and lots of extra cash spent on plugins and coding and the thing still isn’t up to par. That is why I am looking at WordPress with the BuddyPress plug in. At adds the social component we wanted from day one. We do lose some other things as we have an integrated arcade with over 2100 games. The system we would need must have flexibility to change with the times and not break what is there like when upgrading vbulletin templates or other scripts.

I would love a theme that would be a “Branding SIte” for a product or book.
